In the section «High-rise construction» you can get acquainted with the projects of high-rise buildings, executed by our company in the period from 2004 to the present. When describing each object, we tried to touch on the most interesting aspects of the design and construction process. 

The construction of high-rise buildings is complemented by a step-by-step description of each object, where you can see the sequence of construction of facilities, from the engineering preparation of the construction site to the appearance of the finished building, to share our practical experience with our colleagues, engineers, architects and geotechnicians. 


Residential building «Pearl» at Seafront of General Serebryakov in Novorossiysk

The projected 20-storey administrative and residential building «Pearl» is located in one of the most attractive places of Novorossiysk - on the Seafront of Admiral Serebryakov with a wonderful view of the sea bay.
The location of the parking in the basement of the building envisaged in the project, as well as a block of attached office space.

 

Housing estate «ZARYA» at Montazhnikov Str. in Krasnodar

Construction site of residential 273-apartment 24 - storey building located in the city of Krasnodar, Montazhnikov str 1/2.In the basement there is an underground parking for 49 vehicles. We have analyzed the geological conditions of the area, the main complicating features were weak soils located near the surface. The height of the building reaches 73m and consists of 24 floors. The total mass of the building is about 26480 tons. The average pressure under the foundation is around 400 kPa. We carried out spatial calculations for several variants of foundations in geological conditions of the construction site.

 

Residential block at Gastello Str. in Adler district of Sochi

Geological survey for construction of a 17-storey residential complex on the Gastello Str. in Sochi found that the thickness of the weak soil is at the depth of 10 to 35 m. Thus there is a strong spatial decline of the relatively strong soil layer No.6. Volumetric illustration of the soil is shown for the understanding of subsoil complication.
In such circumstances, the use of shallow foundations for buildings with significant vertical load is impossible.

 

Block of residential buildings at Solnechnaya Str. in Yablonovskiy settlement, the Republic of Adygea

Today it is one of the major projects which are located in Yablonovsky settlement. The residential complex was built with parking lots, playgrounds and all necessary infrastructure.
The biggest food market is situated next to the complex, as well as shopping centers, radio market, etc. The object is located in a convenient location with good transport interchange which allows to move in any direction.
A number of technical problems have been solved in the design of the project.
First, the pressure on the foundation can reach significant values in the construction of multi-storey buildings (0.6 MPA or more). Under these pressures traditional shallow foundations in most cases are unacceptable without further design decisions.

 

High-rise building at Kirova Str. in Adler district of Sochi

Today raft-pile foundations are the most rational solution for the design of high-rise buildings on compressible soils. This is confirmed by numerous field observations and numerical methods. We have conducted a very interesting comparative analysis for two identical buildings located at a distance of 100 meters from each other on the basis of the same stratification of soils and their properties.
