Technical survey

In 1998 seismic certification of buildings and constructions was carried out in Krasnodar because the new map of seismic zoning of the territory of Russia was approved. According to the new classification, most of the historical buildings in the Kuban region were located in areas classified as high seismic. This fact has determined significant difficulties in the reconstruction of such buildings.

Development of the reconstruction project implies compliance with all requirements of seismic safety not only for superstructure or additional structures but primarily for existing ones. In this situation, the engineer has to be creative in order not to affect the existing space-planning solutions, and on the one hand to ensure the seismic safety of the object. The reliability of the actual strength and deformation characteristics of load-bearing structures and main assemblies becomes important in the course of the project decision.

Our experts with years of experience of technical inspection of constructions of buildings and structures can quickly and accurately diagnose the damage and wear and to determine the cause of the development of cracks and uneven deformations of the bearing and enclosing structures.

Analysis of recent earthquakes shows that all frame buildings, except reinforced by the diaphragm, are seriously damaged. Long worn brick walls, rubble foundations, floors of unmerged in hard drives precast concrete slabs are usually the most vulnerable parts of the building under seismic excitation.

Due to the equipment with all the necessary measuring devices, we obtain reliable data on the actual strength of the bearing elements in the calculation of reconstructed buildings and structures.

In addition We often have to deal with the measurement of soil properties. We have a geotechnical laboratory equipped with automaticengine and shear devices, where we make the determination of estimated characteristics physico-mechanical properties of soils during the reconstruction of the foundations of buildings with significant physical deterioration of structures and for the reinforcement of monuments.

Such studies are also connected with the need to obtain extended characteristics of engineering-geological elements that we need when working with various computational models of soils described by nonlinear dependences.
