The time when the availability of computer programs and the ability to use them in the calculation of buildings and structures was an advantage left in the past. Today, every self-respecting engineer must operate a number of specialized software products in order to achieve high results.
The ability to create an adequate design scheme, make a calculation algorithm to obtain the results and to interpret them correctly and, most importantly, to determine the result of the analysis of the most efficient technical solution is the art of the engineer, which depends on his qualification and experience.
GEOTECH has a number of highly qualified engineers, specializing in complex calculations of buildings and structures, deep excavations, large tanks, engineering slope protection and landslide processes, etc.
Along with the calculations performed in the process of working on new projects, we often receive requests from various organizations for additional comparative calculations for objects with a fully developed set of project and settlement documentation. In some cases, after additional calculations, we are able to reduce construction costs by tens of percent due to the study of alternative technical solutions to the problem under consideration. For high-rise construction, such technical rationalization leads to a very tangible economic effect, sometimes estimated at tens of millions of rubles, as well as to a reduction in the timing of construction. Today, our company has all the necessary specialized software for geotechnical calculations (PLAXIS, GEO-SLOPE, Foundation 3D, MIDAS GTS), and the programs for structural analys (MicroFE, LIRA, COSMOS, ANSYS, MIDAS).
